WordPress Development & Plugin Engineering

Custom WordPress themes and plugins engineered like software — the same practice behind the plugins we publish ourselves.

WordPress powers a large share of the web, and much of what goes wrong with it comes from plugins written without engineering discipline. We write WordPress code the way we write any software: clear architecture, prepared queries, escaping, capability checks and an update path.

We publish our own plugins — VTC LMS Pro, Byteslim Image Optimizer and ClickGuard Pro — with licensing, release channels and support behind them. WordPress work is led by WP Developer Hub, our WordPress division.

Typical applications

  • Custom plugins for business logic
  • Theme development and Gutenberg blocks
  • Elementor-based sites and custom widgets
  • LMS, student and results management
  • Plugin licensing and automatic updates
  • Performance and security clean-ups

How we work

  1. Discovery

We map the workflow, users, data and constraints, and agree the scope and acceptance criteria in writing.

  2. Plugin or theme design

Data storage, hooks and admin screens planned to work with WordPress, not around it.

  3. Development & review

Coding standards, escaping and nonce checks reviewed before every release.

  4. Compatibility testing

Tested against current WordPress and PHP versions and the plugins you rely on.

  5. Launch & support

Deployment, handover documentation and an optional maintenance plan once the system is live.

Questions about WordPress & Plugins

Can you fix or extend a plugin someone else wrote?

Yes, after reviewing the code. If a plugin is unsafe or unmaintainable we will say so and propose a replacement.

Do you sell plugins too?

Yes. Our commercial plugins are listed under Products, with licences managed in the customer license portal.

Have a system in mind? Let’s map it out.

Tell us what you need to build, replace or fix. We’ll review it and reply with questions or a clear next step — not a sales script.
